LivingWell Medical Clinic began operation in April of 1985. The clinic was founded by a coalition of businessmen and doctors who recognized the need for practical help and medical care for women in Orange County facing unplanned pregnancies. At that time, there were over 50 facilities offering abortion services and NO abortion alternative medical services. Over the past 16 years we have assisted over 58,000 women facing unplanned pregnancies and have helped to give life to over 14, 000 babies. Today we have 6 clinics in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Our mission is to provide alternative services and practical solutions to each woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, in order to allow her to make a rational decision without the undue pressure of her other circumstances. Our emphasis is on helping the woman as well as preserving the life of the unborn child. We also provide post-abortion counseling and support for the recovery of women facing post-abortion trauma. Finally, we provide community and church training service for the preventing of unplanned pregnancy through outreach to local churches and schools. Our objective is to see these services made available first to every woman in Orange County and then to implement a national strategy.
